How much does it cost?

There is no charge. All costs are covered by voluntary donations.

Who can sign up?

While there are no restrictions on who may sign up at this time, please note the following:

• The intent of this tool is to support the efforts for Special Metropolitan Public Witnessing in various branch territories of Jehovah's Witnesses around the world.
• Similar efforts not sponsored by the local branch office may also register.
• Only one registration per city is allowed.
• Congregations wanting to organize their local public witnessing efforts should use a congregation account and not sign up for an SMPW account.

Do the congregations that publishers belong to need to use Hourglass?

No

What if a publisher already has an account with a congregation?

They should continue to use their account. They will see an invitation to join the SMPW zone.

Can a publisher have an account with more than one SMPW zone at a time?

No, a publisher can only be linked to one SMPW zone at a time. Accepting an invitation to another zone would effectively move the publisher to that zone.

Can visitors be added to the schedule?

They should be given an account like any other publisher. If they are associated with another SMPW zone, they should accept your invitation to move to your zone and then accept a new invitation to their previous zone when returning home.
